I can't logon to my home pc. I believe that in the registry there is a hotkey binding for the task manager that is set to CTRL+ALT+DEL by default. Sorry, I am not too familiar with using the Ctrl+Alt+Del as a login security feature, which is what I am guessing that you are doing. This is based on using an onboard copy of sysfiles if copy is ok.If copy is corrupted, it may tell you to insert XP or SP2(if patch applied) disk or to Save the REG File to your hard disk. I have no idea whether or not this will help in your situation, but I will suggest that you do it anyway since it is the first step in trouble-shooting just I am not using remote software.

If it's just the log on screen, I'd say that maybe your keyboard drivers aren't fully loading until after the OS fully starts and is logged in. check my blog However, if this is a fresh install of the OS, it sounds unlikely that it was changed. you are far better off with AVG free edition, which costs nothing and

Honestly that is my default reaction often. and you can uninstall mcaffee, as it is a truly bad product and won't
