Also, check to make sure mounting bracket not out of line from getting hit by foot. If it does, the problem isn't the switch. Check the stop/haz fuse. OK, I have heard of a couple of these with wear in the push rod for the booster an that would need to be replaced. when you press on the pedal with your hand, you'll see a switch let out.
