BUT you inserted the "low-noise" adapters into each of their power supply lines. Both of them? I guess situation differs and it's dependant on the fan setup, in which you'd have to find a proper way to use the adapters without anything disfunctioning. If the fan does have 4 pins and wires and you don't have 4 pin connectors on the motherboard, they may not spin.
